Welcome from

4th Dunstable

Scout Group

One of the oldest Scout Groups in the Dunstable District, the 4th sits on the Luton & Dunstable borders, offering Scouting to young people in the area. We offer Beavers, Cubs and Scouts as well as preparing our oldest members for Explorers.

New hut news

Thank you to all those who have supported us in building our new hut. Work has now started and the builders are on site, but we still need more support. Once we have built the hut we will need to fill the hut with resources in order to carry on giving a brilliant scouting experience to all the children and young adults involved.

If you wish to help, please get in contact so we can find the best way you may help us.

Scouting from home

While we normally love the great outdoors, we’ve pulled together some inspired indoor activity ideas (if we do say so ourselves) to keep kids entertained while schools are closed due to coronavirus. Keep your kids learning new skills and having fun (and avoid hearing ‘I’m bored’ every 30 seconds) all in #TheGreatIndoors.

We know that the social and economic impact of Covid-19 on young people will be significant. These activities are free – of course! – but if you like what you see and you want to keep young people learning, connected and helping others during this period, please consider making a donation.

Badge scheme

Scouting doesnt need to stop because we are no longer in the hut, instead why not follow the badge scheme scheme from home?

Follow the link below and contact your leader to keep the adventure going.

Thank you!

A massive thank you to the Garfield Weston Foundation who have donated £15,000 to our hut fundraising appeal.
